Way too much mana for that. A cost of 1R would have been acceptable, but either way, just use a lightning bolt for spot damage, or any number of superior attacking creatures if that's what you want.

Actully I think this is a pretty good card. 3 drop for a 1/1 isn't great, but when it dies you get a lightning bolt out of it, it can chump block and it fits goblin tribal (meaning it could cost less or be stronger, ect..) also use it with sacrifice effects for a little extra zing. Honestly for a 3 drop common it is far from bad.

if you buff it up with a power booster like Unholy Strength then you can just attack if they block zap something if they dont 3 damage only really works in a goblin deck

One of my favorites to run with Shirei. Perhaps not the most powerful, but any kind of sac outlet nets you a free Lightning Bolt each turn, which is always a plus.
