Very annoying indeed. Getting two against you is just very bad luck. Three is fucked up.

If it provided troll shroud the card would be almost unfair, but you don't mind your Fearies having shroud anyways, given that this guy can for example also protect your beloved Bitter Blossom enchantment. On top of that it has Flash, meaning you will just respond to any of your opponent's destruction effects by playing this fellow and thin his/her hand by one further threat.

This guy is amazing without flash, but with flash he is effectively a counterspell and a damage spike. A faerie staple.

this is also not a very good card to see played against you, extremely flexible with strong effects and abilities.

Three mana for, count them, FOUR abilities. And a 1/1 body that will get bigger from your other lords.
So that's clearly FIVE CMC's worth of abilities packed into a 3 cmc tribal lord. Thanks Wizards, for giving stupid players an easy route to victory. If you have to upgrade tribes sooo much just to counter Volcanic Fallout, then why did you print it in the first place???

Great card, but only for a Faerie deck (obviously), so it can't be a 5/5.

Talk about piling it on. +1/+1 and shroud? At instant speed? Play it as a combat trick or a counter for maximum versatility. A 3 mana lord doesn't get much better than this (and two of it is cololess!).

Every single faerie deck in the world can try their best, but without this card, even with Bitterblossom out, it sucks. Even Oona herself is a Wood Elemental compared to her Scions.

Great card. Basicly only board-wiping cards can screw you. Unless you conter them that is. And since this is blue...

Scion, you are just broken as heck.

Brutal, but... as odd as it sounds, I think it's well costed.
A 1/1 with flying +Lord ability isn't really worth the 3 mana. The shroud... maybe over the top lol; but he needed something. Really cool control deck option though. Mana open for a counter spell, this as a fake counterspell, or instant speed card draw.
Brutal no-win situation there; even in aggro it's brutal.

No wonder why faeries face-trolled tourneys.. .5/5 for being stupid.

@ sootoo While I agree with your first point that very very few cards are broken like personally there are only a few cards I find broken sol ring, force of will, power 9 things of that nature. But people arnt always noobs because they can't answer this card this card is amazing an hard to answer. The irony is the answers you mentioned are incredibly narrow bad answers. those cards should never make a mainboard or even a sideboard. Day of judgement, wrath of god effects are the answer to mass shroud typically not narrow flying hate.
On the card itself its nuts flash in mid combat after you've had bitterblossom online for 3-4 turns and you may just kill someone out right. Or as others have said you can counter removal with or maybe just save a creature with the 1 toughness boost

Cleverly balanced. Cards like Spellstutter Sprite and Mistbind Clique very much enjoy being returned to your hand, but shroud prevents you targeting them to do that. Don't get me wrong, Scion is still incredibly powerful, but the removal of a potential tactic is what keeps him from being over the top.

Championing a faery does not target, it bypasses Shroud. So no, they are as broken as ever.

Also, if you want another way to return faeries to your hand, use Trusted Advisor, who only costs one mana, returns as many as you want for free, and doesn't target.

Lol @ the guys here who say this card would broken. It´s not even close to being broken. Most people who say cards would be broken, always appear to me, like total noobs who are just too retarded to find any answers to cards.
Sure, Scion of Oona is awesome with a nice army on the field, but when your opponent plays cards like Tornado Elemental, or Cloudthresher, for example, then you also already can leave the game, as long as you have no counter on hand.
However, I totally love this guy, especially when I play my Mask of Avacyn the turn before I flash him in. Since he´s only a 1/1 creature and doesn´t have shroud himself, he´s just too vulnerable, but the mask fits perfectly to him, IMO.
@Trollking "The irony is the answers you mentioned are incredibly narrow bad answers." I disagree that they are bad answers, but it all depends on the format you play, anyway... I am an EDH player, and there, cards like Cloudthresher (or even better the Silklash Spider for example) can be incredibly strong, especially with all the green creature tutors. If you just play a wrath, you will probably also kill your own board, anyway, while flying-hate is a perfect answer to people who play Scion of Oona, because they will most likely play flyers-only... Not to mention that not everyone can use a wrath or damnation, when they don't play the colors, but whatever...
