If you insist on making minotaurs as a type and reprinting them OVER AND OVER throughout SEVERAL sets...Please make a card that makes them somewhat valuable. All mintoaurs get +2/+2 for 4 mana, when a minotaur enters play, deal x damage, SOMETHING. GIVE ME SOMETHING. I want to make a minotaur deck SO BAD but they're all BAD.

Isn't the whole point of First Strike to be protective ability on low-toughness creatures so that they can survive exchanges against creatures with power >= their power?

should have been 3/2 or even 4/1 first strike but its less "bodyguard" then should be 1/4 vigilance or something

I'm putting a minotaur deck together tonight. Except mine will be no reprints. 3 digeredoos and a crap load of cheap direct damage and support spells. It is red, right?

This was the last time a Homelands card got reprinted.
He really needs another card to do something. Possibly a bonesplitter. Still its a homelands limited filler so of course its overpriced by .

@Inperialstonedragon I disagree. He/she is more flavorful with low power because he thwarts glass cannons and other low toughness first strikers. I think he should have been given the same ability as D'Avenant Archer in addition to his first strike. Then he would have been a perfectly solid and not overpowered common because these abilities synergize, but only when blocking/body guarding. He would have more utility and his casting cost would be perfect. (See the old artwork for the crossbow he uses.) With this one extra ability he stands apart from the crowd.
