Strictly worse than Honor of the Pure.

Obsolete with the release of Honor of the Pure. But, then again, most copies of this card have probably been reduced to dust anyway.

Vanilla white could do no wrong with this one for a loooong time. Newer cards have reduced its effectiveness, but clearly still useful.

Weenie hoards unite! Crusade was the card that made white weenie effective and tournament-worthy for so many years during the early days of Magic. Crusade made your Savannah Lions, White Knight, and Order of Leitbur attacking machines. Crusade has fallen to power creep, but you can't ignore the effect this white enchantment had on Magic's metagame for many years.

This version should have a higher rating, at the time this came out it was such a strong card.

Obsoleted by Honor of the Pure? No, my friend, this is going to experience a resurgence due to Honor of the Pure. Hark, the great white weenie hath returned.
