Use this with Hellbent abilities. It's a great way to get extra lands out of your hand when you're stuck with 3 or so lands in ur hand and nothing else to play.

I guess by the time your hand is inevitably gone, you can safely play Burning Enquiry and just discard what you get to pump your creature, while your opponent has to discard.

@Gwafa_Hazid: You can't discard the cards drawn by Burning Inquiry to this. You have to draw the three, and immediately discard three as part of the spell resolving. You don't get priority at any time.

Y'all are overlooking one huge thing: it's a free discard engine that's cheap and can be played at instant speed. The way I see it, the only downside is that there needs to be a creature on the battlefield.
