I think of the emperor from star wars when i see this card.

maybe its all this talk about hate, the wrinkles, or the lightning.

Obviously inspired by the emperor from Star Wars. The flavour text should've been the greatest quote ever: "Good, your hate has made your powerful."
Would have been a nice reference.

Would work well with Training Grounds, a firebreathing for any blue red you have. Use that one black care from planeshift or whatever that reduces blue and red costs by 1 uncolored mana and see how it goes.

Would also work well with that training grounds and the inclusion of some puny red aggro. One gets through and buff it up with 4-5 mana for a good 6 damage or something.

As is, though, the flavour text is just a little silly with synonyms.

@Deepfried-Owls: I like your suggestion, but I'd rather use Heartstone if I were to include this guy in a deck, as both would reduce by the same amount, but Training Grounds wouldn't reach its full potential with this guy, or any of the other Weavers. Training Grounds has better targets to enchant.

Since when do zombies say things like this? Aren't they mindless? Since when do they know what hatred is?

@Tiggurix: Training Grounds doesn't enchant a target since it is not an aura. It affects all of your dudes. And while you are correct in that it won't "reach its full potential" for hate weaver, that doesnt mean other dudes in your deck won't get the full benefit. Run both heartstone and training grounds to maximize your potential of making your dudes' abilities cheaper.

@Deepfried-Owls: The familiar cycle to which you are refering only lowers the cost of SPELLS. Nightscape Familiar. This is not a spell, nor is it blue or red. It wouldn't work.
