It could have its uses with "come into battlefield" abilities of other creatures and permanents, but other than that its not particularly all that great.

They errata'd in flavor text? What?

Anycase, Viashino Sandstalker is better.

The flavor text wasn't errata. Tenth Edition foils didn't have reminder text, and some of them had flavor text added on to take up the extra space.

It'd be sweet if it had flash.
