Anything remotely resembling mass-removal has a place in Limited, even if you make it this weak-looking. A card that may just sit in your hand and suck some games, but is worth packing for the games where it saves your butt. I cannot, however, imagine this ever being good in Constructed.

Alternatives include Pyroclasm, Volcanic Fallout, Earthquake, and Breath of Darigaaz, all of which are probably more useful.

how about four in a deck with Deep-Slumber Titan and Hunted Phantasm?

Nothing gets you more hate than dropping this turn one in multiplayer. Especially if you're going last.

I want to use this against Gladecover Scout, Slippery Bogle, and Silhana Ledgewalker. Kill them turn one before the 1 mana enchantments make them invincible.
