Big and strong. And should some killing spells be cast his way, you can always press the red button and BOOM! I like always try to team this guy up with Mogg Maniac. 12 damage for one red mana activation? Forget about it.

He's great in a black/red reanimator deck. T4: Zombify the Colossus T5: Swing for 6, pop him for 6 and clear the board, then Zombify the Colossus again!

Basilisc collar wont work, because it's not equipped to that creature anymore, when the damage resolves. First you pay the price (1M and sacrifice) and after that the ability goes into stack.
