All Slivers have "0: If this creature is in play, flip a coin. If you win the flip, *** off target opponent who played any card named Wrath of God this turn"

Should have given all slivers flying while it was at it.

op when combined with pulmonic, totally op if you throw dormant in to draw the half which died when the other half return, totally @!#$%^& op

Hey, this guy doubles as a Frenetic Efreet for an instant win with Chance Encounter, so he's not so bad.

Unfortunately, the rulings say they fixed Frenetic Efreet and this guy. Only one coin flip per creature using the ability.

Poor Wizards can't catch a break. Even a creature whose only ability is to kill itself ends up creating an instant-win combo. It must get maddening to even bother releasing new cards eventually. Aside from that newly-destroyed strategy, the idea of a 50/50 chance of either killing yourself or temporarily killing yourself didn't sound like a great deal to me, but I guess it gives the poor little blighters a fighting chance if they're going to die anyway, or have otherwise been rendered useless.

@Gwafa_Hazid, not quite. The slivers get the ruling, the Efreet dosn't.

Frenetic Efreet is back to the way the card originally worked with Chance Encounter; the errata is gone. This card works differently because they applied the errata'd text from the Efreet, before it had reverted back. So this card can't be abused with Chance Encounter but the Efreet can again.

This card should read "kill spells are now only 50% reliable"

A three drop 2/2 which stops any kill spell half of the time? I think that's fairly strong. Not to mention it comboes with Dormant Sliver and Wild Pair, drawing you the whole library in the matter of a turn or two. (with the help of certain other Slivers) Actually you don't need this to draw that much, but it adds resilience and gets rid of Dormant when you don't need it anymore.
In another game, I could totally see this card having "+50 Evasion."

Why is this not rated higher? It allows all slivers to avoid everything thrown at them 50% of the time. Sure, there's one that gives Shroud but that also stops you from targeting your own slivers.

Izzet a sliver? I dunno. I'd look at it more closely to find out for sure, but apparently I'm supposed to treat it as if it doesn't exist. :(
