Donate after a few turns. Lose of life in blue is pretty great.

If there's any enchantment for i'd donate to my opponent for loss of life, it'd be Illusions of Grandeur.
Still a somewhat interesting card, although not too playable.
Could have been ridiculously awesome for : Compared to Act of Treason effects you could cast it a turn sooner. And since you keep it, this would act as cheap creature removal and an additional blocker on your side at least during your opponent's turn. On your next turn you could attack with it after paying the upkeep, so at that point you'd have paid the same amount with a far bigge impact, and you could even keep the creature for some more turns if you want to. Although it would ultimately cost you 2 life for each upkeep if you don't win the game by this, that cost sounds actually too cheap when i think about it :P

wait, I'm confused. Was Control Magic considered that broken?

I have always hated this card because I have never found a use for it. I started playing Magic around Kamigawa Block, and this was the third control aura I came across (the other two being Dream Leash and Threads of Disloyalty). When I first came across this card, I must have thought for several minutes about why anyone would ever use this over Dream Leash. This costs one less and can enchant untapped creatures, but can only enchant creatures, has cumulative upkeep and ANOTHER drawback! Even in comparison to Mind Control, this is absolute crap.
