Not bad at all, as most cards have activated abilities which annoy at the least. If you're running this, chances are it's a snow deck and you'll already be set to use the Cryomancer's ability when you play her. I love this card, as it helped me defeat my friend's previously undefeated Onslaught elf deck (Timberwatches pumping Defiants and Wellwisher lifegain).

To bad you have to tap it, although its body ain't that big, it would be nice to attack with it if they have no creatures. But then it would be a little bit broken. Needs vigilance.

Countering activated abilities is pretty neat. From stopping loxodon warhammers to be equipped, to countering oblivion stones, abilities of creatures, terramorphic expanse and whatnot there is lots to do. Still a pity she costs 4 mana.

Sorry Nicol Bolas, but you can't ever destroy that permanent, it's much too cold outside.
Maybe if you put on that nice little jacket your grandmama knit for you I might reconsider...
