Agreed. Get this out, Add a Torchling+Elemental Mastery= Infinate x4 1/1 red creature tokens w/ haste. Make as many as needed, attack then sac X number of 1/1's for Red mana and fireball them for 9000

It should be noted, that as this is a snow creature, the R it can make is also Snow mana.

Well. It gives you red snow mana. And is 4/3. But 4R is too much.

Yeah the whole creature is superfluous, how about a 2-3 mana shaman with only the sack ability?

This guy really shines in my Naya tokens EDH deck. He's like a Phyrexian Altar on legs, but gives you only red mana. I had scenarios like this: summon a bunch of tokens with Rith, the Awakener or other token generators, next turn cast Collective Unconscious, draw most of your library, cast this fellow, cast Chancellor of the Forge followed by Vicious Shadows. Sacrifice all tokens; gg. Not to mention, he gets bonus points for being a Slug and having an awesome artwork.

And {R}{R} is kind of weird? They rarely give us things that make 2 mana, often preferring to give mana in units of either 1 or 3.
