Hurkyl's Recall is a versatile spell. For what it does, it is extremely undercosted, and if that isn't good enough, it's an instant on top of that. You can use it in a number of ways - offensively, if the battlefield is clogged up with your opponent's artifacts; defensively, if you want to protect your artifacts from targeted destruction (or even your own Wrath of God type effect); or as a way to replenish your hand to fuel storm or re-use artifacts with "comes onto the battlefield" abilities. But in reference to the flavor text... exactly what has Drafna ever been credited with except for Drafna's Restoration?
