This card led me to many victories in the first league my group had, back when Legends was new. I pulled this, a White Knight, and a Circle of Protection: Black. I still make use of it in one of my Legacy Suicide decks. One of my most favorite cards ever!

Excellent enchantment, one of the best around for black when it was released. This guy is still one of my favorite "clear out" cards for masses of 1/1 crowd decks. Take that tokens!!!

This iconic card has been colorshifted into pyrohemia and put on legs in pestilence demon, but for me it isn't the same unless the original is used.

Tavaritz - Technically, you CAN kill a fungusaur with a Pestilence. Just respond to the +1/+1 trigger by using Pestilence again. The second damage happens before the counter, et voila! Dead fungus.

Check Fungusaur. It has been changed in 8th edition so that it will never die (OK, unless you want to(1)) of Pestilence, but grow with each you use.
(1) I didn't mean when you play against Fungusaur, but that you should use Fungusaur in your Pestilence deck.
