As far as I know, the Revised Edition version of this is the only Magic card ever printed where it says that a creature is "killed," as opposed to a proper game term like "destroyed" or "buried."

Siren's Call and Stone Giant from Revised also "kill" creatures. Any more out there?

Dragon Whelp will be "killed" if you spend more than according to the revised version.

Endless potential with this card, tons of ways to destroy fearsome opponents. This and Twiddle will blow up just about anything.
Another old card created with flavour in mind... delicious, delicious flavour!
The oracle text is pretty wordy, to make the ability do what it is meant to do without allowing people to "abuse" it. I think it's a nice touch that it can taunt any creature without defender into attacking (and in this day and age, even some creatures WITH defender), but walls remain immune to its nettling insults. NOTE: Mistform Ultimus gets off lucky. If they were ever going to reprint this card, it'd be great if they could use flavour text to allude to the REASON that a creature that cannot attack ends up being destroyed.
Also, another old card that has wings in the art but does not have flying - somewhat counterintuitive. Still very cool, regardless!

I think that it puts a compulsion to attack so strong that you suicide if you cannot fullfill it.

@: Leshrac_Nightwalker: They couldn't fit the word flying in the text box.

@Leshrac_Nightwalker: As for flavor text for a reprint of this card, how about: In a frenzy, the soldier's fatigue nonetheless prevented him from striking his enemies, and his honor from harming his allies. He turned to the only one he could...himself.

Can anyone tell me if this card can force a creature with defender but explicitely NOT a wall (e.g. Thallid Shell-Dweller) to attack?
I know every wall automatically has defender, but defenders are not automatically walls and it's also valid to use the imp's ability on other creatures (who are not a wall) that you know are unable to attack, like tapped creatures. Anyone that can verify this?

Strangely, the Oracle text for this card specifies "non-wall", rather than "creature without defender". KISS YOUR CARVEN CARYATIDS GOODBYE.
