Currently kind of underrated, reminds me of Thought Courier, although they actually have two completely different abilities.
I'm glad Wizard noticed the greenishness of this card as well.

Hard to tell whether that's the case, but apparently on the artwork he's currently holding himself on the Ruhk Bird.
Now i think about it, there are apparently a bunch of Arabian Nights cards related to his tale, e.g. Old Man of the Sea.

Human what? Human Scout? Human Pirate? Human Warrior? He should have a class type, but what would be best?

He played the bad guy in Jingle All the Way.

@Mode: Thanks for explaining this, I always thought he was holding onto a dragon's head, but then he'd be toast.

The scariest thing ever would be if they gave Sinbad ANOTHER T.V. show!

@Guest37027936: Well, the "legendary" supertype wasn't around at the time.

You'd think they would have retconned him to be a Legendary creature by now.

Wizards really needs to update this card, in 1,000 Arabian Nights Sindbad was a badass. Being a 1/1 human with no class and not being a Legendary? I understand this was in the beginning of Magic but Really? update and make this guy the Pirate, swashbuckling hero he deserves to be.

Could be cool in a madness deck.

When I first heard "Sindbad," I thought "No, impossible... Sindstrong!"

For a mediocre effect like that he just isn't very strong.

The original "psychic sindbad" combo was with Ice Age lands. The Ice Age cards were printed on slightly different stock, so that you could tell an Ice Age card from other sets only by looking at the back. So you would only use Ice Age cards for your lands, and then only tap Sindbad when you knew the top card of your deck was from Ice Age (and therefore a land).
