Dude's too big to ride a horse, they gotta carry him around on some big *** barge all the time.

... I think the idea is that he controls a whole fleet of ships. Thus the attacking limitation.
He's a pretty solid card in blue, but there are better.

Well, it is certainly odd that this little scrawny looking man is the largest Human in the game.

@Swordskill you mean effeminate and borderline Dracula? That's the way he looks in D Warriors 7

How can it be the worst EDH general if it's in the best color for EDH?

I think the large power and toughness is meant to represent the fleet of ships he commands.

Even with the attacking restriction, it seems like an 8/8 for 7 in Blue should be rated higher.

Ironically his arms don't look half as strong as those from Waterfront Bouncer, yet he's eight times more powerful. Even stronger than Commander Greven il-Vec (the only comparably strong human i can think of), let alone all those demons, dragons, beasts and wurms.

Of all the possible flavor text for Zhou Yu, they picked this one. Despite all his accomplishments (and being an 8/8 for some insane reason), Zhou Yu is only known for being trolled by Kongming.

Yeah he's an 8/8 cause of his ships that would explain why he can't attack unless defending player controls an ISLAND duh

Two years later, Savia is still correct. Also, he seems playable with Spreading Seas.

ZY: "I, the mighty Zhou Yu, challenge you to a battle, Kongming!" *punches wall into a thousand pieces*
KM: "Uh, but... well you see, Mr. Yu... I don't have a private island!"
ZY: "What is this nonsense?!" *karate chops a leviathan in half*
KM: "Yup, too bad, I think it's in, like, the naval warfare rules or bushido or something. You can't attack me unless I have an Island. Sorry bro!"
ZY's first mate: "Dang, I think he's right, captain... we'll have to wait til he's on a ship or something..."
ZY: "SILENCE, FOOL!!!" *drop-kicks him into another dimension*

lol this artwork is quite hilarious to people that don't know their Three Kingdoms. It makes it seem like this guy is taller than the ships beside him and as tall as the flag pole behind him.
but yeah in the story Zhou Yu had the most disciplined and largest naval fleet. Though his skills in leading soldiers on land is not as good as Cao Cao.

I random-carded into this and literally laughed out loud. He's 8/8! With almost-islandhome! OK, I get that he commands a fleet of ships, but then you'd think the art would reflect that.
