I don't think Kessig really outclasses this. I'd rather get the 2 mana +1/+1 trample instead of a 3 mana +1/+1 trample. In a slow format, Kessig all the way, but when you need all of the mana you can to pump out creatures, go with this

Outclassed? Perhaps. Kessig Wolf Run needs more mana and doesn't give a toughness boost, but the potential is higher. Of course, tapping this to fuel the Wolf Run is about as hilarious as it gets. Run both. Everything gets trample.
I disagree that Kessig wolf run is better. Maybe situationally, but for the same mana, this gives +1/+1 and trample, and Kessig only gives trample. (Since X can be 0). Also this will help against Red removal, and help a creature survive combat. Granted, if you have the mana open to dump into Kessig, it is better. Scalability is awesome.
