1-mana drop that accelerates a single turn with any colour. Not game-breaking, but definitely useful.

She's quite scary-looking, isn't she?
EDIT: Not saying it's a bad card, just that all that crazy bodypaint, flying hair and crazy pose make her art a bit intimidating.

very usefull indeed; not as hard to find as birds of paradise, and not as aggro drawing as it either.

Hello Amazon. Kinda handy, also useful for abilities that trigger on a creature dying.

If you have Enduring Renewal out, you can keep sacrificing her, getting her back in your hand immediately, and using the mana to cast her again; repeat as many times as necessary and follow up with your favorite Storm spell (I believe Grapeshot is the easiest).
This is the One-drop in my R/G Eldrazi deck. It's out of tribal but you'd be surprised how often this Pseudo-spawn-token comes in handy specifically for needing colored mana in the mid and early game.

I don't see how this could ever be preferred over Birds

Useful if you're not actually running Green with your Red.

I'm sure there's some ridiculously convoluted first-turn win at work here.
...What? Just...what!? Red mana fixing. Never thought I'd see the day.
Also, that is some ugly ass art. Bleh.

It's a decent combo creature. It synergizes with storm, morbid, and other cool mechanics like tge "colors matter" theme from Shadowmoor and Alara Reborn. It helps fuel the Dragon's Herald combo dexk, and I'm pretty sure all the designers had in mind was Bloodthirst when they put together this little utility dork. Oh, it's much better than that.
Back in the day, this was good. Now it's been replaced with Burning-Tree Emissary, which we all know is downright insane.

Burning-Tree Emissary does not make . This is more flexible. BTE is more like Cloud of Faries for /. This card can be considered a direct filter to whatever color...
Yes, I use this in a non-competitive legacy deck along with Simian Spirit Guide and Elvish Spirit Guide for a no lands deck. Yes, it melts to any form of counter magic. And yes, I still love it
