An interesting Castle effect on this creature, forcing this card into a slot normally reserved for Walls, except this one can attack for 1...

@GainsBanding: it is not a turtle. It is a tortoise. It lives in the Desert.

It's creature type is turtle. Check the details on here.
Also what is the difference between the Arabian Nights versions? I can't tell.

I love Magic's defensive flavor with turtles. Edit: All tortoises are turtles. But not all turtles are tortoises (some are sea turtles).

I think the only difference between the two versions has something to do with being printed on a different sheet of cards. I'm not entirely enlightened on this matter myself though.

That turtle looks ready to bust a rhyme.

The difference between versions, not correctly displayed in gatherer, is the colorless mana symbol was darker on some versions of this card.

The Gatherer's database doesn't have the Arabian Nights' alternate version, which had a much lighter colorless mana cost symbol for the (1) mana in the upper right corner. A lot of Arabian Nights cards had dark, colored circles for the colorless mana cost, which was confusing and hard to see. Some people actually thought Juzam Djinn costed BB instead of 2BB, for instance. Some people around here STILL think the Guardian Beast costed B instead of 3B. Now that's what I call a laugh riot! :-D
