A card so bad you have to pay to get it off the battlefield.

A vanilla 3/2 for 5 with a drawback? Even if he was unblockable, he would still be weak. Doesn't really fit quite right with the shinens either because they usually grant a positive effect and have that effect themselves. This guy gives a negative effect and has it on an overpriced body. This really is a low card, even for Kamigawa.

There is no reason for a .8 rating, what about Mindless Null? This card is bad, but at least it gives you a choice. It's an overpriced chump blocker or an overpriced way to get your non-trample Timmy tank through but it's a lot better than being stuck with a good-priced anti-block card when you really need a creature.

Okay R&D, what were you thinking on this one?

"3/2 for 4Black is too good, it needs a drawback. Its got that 1Black situational channel ability, so it definitely needs a drawback".

Wow, would a converted mana cost of 4 been too much to ask? 5 mana for 3/2 with a drawback? I know Wizards were trying to take a step back from the overpoweredness of the Mirrodin block, and black isn't supposed to get the best creatures, but this is pitiful. Nowadays, you can compare this to cards like Shriekmaw and laugh.

As usual, people don't understand what the word "discard" means. You can't discard a card if it's already on the battlefield, Arachobia. This guy is anything BUT a chump blocker, Jerec_Onyx, seeing as it CAN'T BLOCK.

On the subject of the actual card, I can't think of a single instance I'd be willing to pay for either of this things effects. 2 mana to make it so a single thing can't block might be relevant somewhere, perhaps, but there are better cards for that. Like just nuking it.

Or you could just put some red in...

Edit:

@DoragonShinzui

Huh? Where did I mention discarding on the battlefield? I was referring to the plethora of red cards that prevent creatures blocking that would be more usable
