Uh, both your elemental and this guy are useless pile of pukes...

HuntedWumpus, I don't think you've ever seen this in action. Against a mono-blue control deck, this just SO gets on your nerves. Believe me, I've felt it >_>
It's great that he's a reusable boomerang, but he's really fragile.

always fun to bounce planeswalkers
today, if the second yesterday is refering to the first yesterday.

The day after tomorrow is just the day after tomorrow, never today or yesterday.
Yesterday is always two days away from tomorrow. Trick question. The text before the comma is just there to bamboozle you, it has nothing to do with what it is asking, which is: Will the day after tomorrow be today or yesterday.
People rarely answer 'today' when it's put to them like that.
Hm. I guess the day after tomorrow WILL be 'today' at some point, but to perceive that the day after tomorrow as something that is not the day after tomorrow, you'd have to be Doctor Who.

Kudos to you, Wraique. I must admit I was bamboozled by the flavourtext, but it seems like you solved it perfectly.

Wraique, you almost got it.
The day after tomorrow will be both today and yesterday. But then, I guess you said that too huh?
Moving on... This is quite expensive... Aggo decks will eat it for lunch... Control decks might not like it much though. Don't know about many others though.

@Dark_Raider I totally agree. My friend has a deck with this guy that just drives me insane. Most games consist of: him: Island me: land him: island, Boomerang my land me: land, discard him: island, Wipe Away my land me: land, discard him: island, Temporal Adept me: @&%*, land, some wimpy two-drop him: island, Boomerang one land, Temporal Adept the other me: give up

OK, I clock your back into your hand, then hit you with my Hypnotic Specter. Buh-bye! See you next turn (same thing). One of my best decks ever.

Good card. Great flavor text.

I'm normally a bit of a "pre-eighth snob" about cards (I like the old layout better), but this is one case where I prefer the post-redesign version of the card entirely based on the awesome flavor text.

People, people, people, it's a temporal manipulation class, not a wordplay class. If any of you had bothered to pay attention to your lessons and do the calculation, you'd find that the correct answer is negative two hours inclinationward. I mean, really, it's just a straightforward application of Wick recoordinating to the analytic continuation of an extended periodic summation. We spent at least a week going over problems just like this, next semester.

Why is a temporal adept so much better than a Time Elemental? Weird lorewise.

@sonorhC: Due to the Krades Law of Minimum/Maximum Temporal Shift the Wick Recoorination will cause the tunneling portal to twist the space/time continuality and cause an unfindable hole. This will be discussed at the end of last semester.

A real time mage would get the question right with:
"It will be whatever day I order it to be."

The best part about this guy is that if it comes to down to it, he's able to protect himself.
