etb disfigure? Although disfigure is 1 mana, which means you're effectively paying 3 mana for a 2/2 flier, which is a bit under the curve, and this doesn't have flash.

Kinda a variation on the famous Nekrataal. Similar in cost and size, but can kill black creatures as long as they're small... Also, this can't effectively be cast onto an empty field, which could be important. Would be excellent with flash, playing as a combat trick and much more effectively as removal. Good anyway, though.

a 2/2 flier for 3 in black is distinctly above the curve. You pay 3 mana for a 2/1 flier.

I really need to start using more creatures like this. ETB killers are very underrated, usually they have some really naff body that makes them little more than chumps afterwards. This and Nekrataal are an example of some fairly solid creatures, and this even has a very relevant type.
