LAME CARD??? this is a good card, solring& grimmonolith are restricted, ... a lot of deck could use one of this golem eye!! for 0.25$ .... okay, and, the art & flavor text is not bad too. 4/5

if you want to bring this for vintage stormkeeper, i'd advice to use Thran Dynamo instead, which is, having the same mana cost and being able to produce three colorless mana instead, superior to this card.

Wow, just wow... Sol ring is FROM THE VAULT! Of course sol ring is better, sol ring is close to broken and a very expensive premium 15 card case, this is a less than half a dollar card.
This is nice for EDH, since when you can only have 1 of each card, this is useful and dollar-cheap.
@Econael: To give EDH players additional options for colourless mana artifacts, maybe?

I'm baffled by the low rating. Artifact/ colorless acceleration in any form is fantastic! Obviously this is not in the same league as sol ring, thran dynamo,black lotus, moxen, and monoliths, but the more the merrier for non-green Edh decks. AND it's cheap. I'd love more functional reprints, I'd run em all. If you are rating this below a 4 you are spoiled.

This was first printed in Darksteel, and Sisay doesn't live on Mirrodin, therefor they couldn't just reprint a ring owned by someone that doesnt live on that plane.
