Why the heck is this rated so low? So many black decks are based on sacrificing life points to make things happen.

The reason is that you gain maybe like 1-2 life a turn normally, in exchange for a wasted card slot and a wasted turn 2. I am actually dumbfounded that it is rated over a 2.
