Sadly, the best part about this card is the flavour text. Jules Verne will never cease to be awesome!

Now all we need is a Mega Shark card.

I remember one of the first decks I ever made had this and Angelic Blessing. I thought it was the coolest thing ever to have a huge flying octopus attacking my opponent. Ah, the good old days.

I like it. Its a good low cost defender and attacker. Perhaps better for constructing under budget. Its a creature too :)

Dammit WotC, I really want to make an octopus deck based around Quest For Ula's Temple, but you've only printed 2 octopi. And this one sucks.
Get on it.

The "Giant" in this Octopus's name comes from it being a blue Hill Giant.

A 3/3...yet it's eatimifying a ship? Maybe it's actually in a bathtub with toys, and just magically is a 3/3.

More like Hill Giant Octopus, amIright? Man, I don't think I could design a vanilla octopus - they have so many spiffy abilities in real-life after all.
Well, except for Changelings, and tied with Mistform Ultimus. Those guys mess up all the trivia questions.

Don't think of it as vanilla, think of it as not having islandhome.

Keep in mind that the boat in the art isn't necessarily a large boat. For all we know, it might just be some fishing skiff or something. I'm fine with this creature only being a 3/3 (for flavor purposes). It's just an octopus, except it's as big as an elephant. It probably doesn't have any ridiculous supernatural abilities.
