I have 2 words for this card. Bane Fire

A great card. It wins me games all the time. It also happens to only be in my opponent's decks. ;)


Make sure you can get more out of this than your opponent before you play it.

Too good a card now that manaburn is gone, almost broken.

@tavaritz, actually, the end of mana burn made this card worse, imho. Playing red when this card was in print, you would usually have a firebreather or something to sink extra mana into. Other colors had fewer options to avoid the burn.

Goes well with red "X" direct damage spells, and makes the game fun for everyone, especially in big games.

Cool when it hits the table.
Not so cool when you get Fireballed for 11.
