Good ol' Keldon Warlord. I remember this card used to strike fear in me when I played casual because all of my playgroup had it except me, and they all ran creature decks. Nowadays, I see it for what it is: a decent variable-power guy, but not the god-stomping gamebreaker I believed it to be when I was a kid.

He was pretty powerful at the beginning of Magic. A better deal now is Battle Squadron - 1 extra mana gives you flying, takes aways the type restriction, and since the great creature type update, ties with Goblin tribal.

I suspect this card's artwork helped increase his apparent threat level. I mean, seriously, that guy is frightening and basically has muscles on his muscles?!

Sure, his arms are jacked from carrying that sword around but look at how little his leg is in comparison. I think he's afraid to get off his high horse cuz its too far down and he doesn't want his enemies to see that he's only four feet tall...
