I wish I had the ability to bounce three of my opponent's lands for the cost of returning a creature to my hand. Having my opponent do it for me at the cost of 3 is just wonderful.

Hmm... Although, for once, it is a ratio of one to one land and bounce. Normally you have to pay more than the number of lands you bounce. The only exception to this rule, with the soratami, are the legendaries and this card.
I think it bounces three lands as a tribute to Ovinomancer.

If you're running these heavier land bouncing Soratami, it's usually not for the effect but the cost and it's landfall setup.
I just want to find another way to make this silly folk even more useful.

I like the fact that it returns 3 lands. normally it's terrible, but i run it in my Lorthos EDH deck, and under stasis lock being able to remove threats and have untapped lands is golden. \

People are seriously underestimating this card. This is not a 1.2 star card (as of now). It's more like 2 or 2.5 star card. The other comments on this page explain why.
