Excellent art for a card that has basically defined red direct damage almost as much as Lightning Bolt. Glad they finally found a way to get the wording right... there was one version that had an X and a Y in its casting cost - argh!

@Radagast This version was part of Unlimited, which was released in 1993. The version with the "Y" was part of Beatdown Box Set, and wasn't printed until 2000. So, they didn't "find a way to get the wording right"; they had this version first and they later changed it. Additionally, I actually think the "Y" does simplify things and it makes the card much easier to understand.
