Strictly better than a basic mountain, yet rated lower. It's not a game-winner(usually) but what's wrong with it? Why would this have less than 3 stars?

if you don't specifically need mountains, this is an auto include in any red deck, in my opinion. Even if you don't have a single legend in the deck. Alright, maybe not if you don't have any legendary creatures, but still...

Also, you shouldn't take seriously anyone who's giving ratings to basic lands. You ever look at a basic land's comments section? Every comment is either about the artwork or a sarcastic joke. I guarantee the scores have just as little to do with the utility of the card.

Most inventive way to use this - have a first striker/double striker involved in combat, let them deal first strike damage, then use this on an opposing legendary (which doesn't have first/double strike).
