Why would you search for a creature turn one... better yet why not wait the (2) turn(s) and play a Gift of the Gargantuan... or even better a Congregation at Dawn if you can play/splash white

*facepalm* And why would you not simply play your desired creature on turn one and then cast this card on turn three and bring another two-drop if you insist on doing so? Correct me if i'm wrong, but i can't read anything like "Play Commune with Nature only if you control no more than one land" on that card.

it's a cheap spell to dig for a key creature. why is that so confusing to mode and jl_weber

@JL_Weber *double facepalm* Why not activate this at turn 6 and still able to play a creature that is up to 5 cmc? Why waste 2 mana when you necessarily don't need a land? Why are you an idiot?

@JL_Weber: I use this to help me find my Kiln Fiend on turn 1 or 2. Then I play the Fiend and I have to use my mana to kill on turn three with various spells.
This is the only card I can use in Modern to get my fiend this quickly, except for Spoils of the Vault, now that Ponder and Preordain are banned.
