that's the kind of common card of which i suppose that it would have gained a cheaper activation cost for its ability if it had been a rare card.

1/3 for three mana is bad. Having to pay an additional three mana to use it's ability makes it worse. And most of the time, it will die in combat anyway.

Why is he the only "Matsu-Tribe" creature that didn't get printed as an archer? Both the Birdstalker and the Sniper are archers, so why isn't he? He is clearly holding a bow in his picture. My theory is that Wizards has a rule that all archers must have some kind of flyer hate.

In other words, they make your opponent have to wait.
