Power-Level-wise? Maybe in a mono-green deck with a bunch of forest walkers, but all in all rather crappy.
It was one of my most favorite cards though back in the days.

More useful for mana-hosing than beating face. The sheer messy nature of the text on this card was incredible - in Revised, if I recall, the entire card text was after the tap symbol, including all the state-based effects, such as determining power and toughness.
