If you need a cost effective black groundling, and you are really strapped for cash, this card will do just fine. The no-ogre penalty could be worse, seeing as there are so many fair-to-excellent three mana ogres.

uhg terrible card, and they even had the nerve to make it an uncommon. my attempt to create a ogre demon deck is only a lonely raving oni-slave

Conveniently, there's a couple of ogres that have a demon requirement, so it fits remarkably well.

Derelor Returns. If he were one mana less he would have seen a bit of play. If he were two less he would have been the next Carnophage for monoblack and would be a sought-after beater for quite a few decks. As it is right now, he's not too useful outside of Ogre Tribal (Hard to pull off due to the lack of ogres, making cards like these seem like a godsend) and sacrifice shenanigans. That being said, there are plenty of other demons who also require some building around to prevent them from killing you.
