Though I have to say the flavor text on Bubbling beebles seems to match this card better.

...why does a Sauté deal damage? Is it a dish so awful the target creature or player need to cut out it's face with a chainsaw?

@Snaxme:
Saute is not a dish. It is a method of cooking. That is, it's a verb, not a noun. To saute. In that regard, yes, cooking a particular creature or player in a pan that you jiggle around over an oven should, indeed, do damage.
And now I wonder how Beebles taste. They bubble and bounce, so.... maybe they're carbonated?
Sadly, I don't think we'll get to return to Beebles anytime soon, so man may never know.

This card should have had a CMC of 2.5. ;) After all, this is Unhinged...
Aside from silly value, an extra 0.5 damage is not worth an extra {1}{R} over Lightning Bolt.

This card is actually fairly balanced, assuming you take the 1/2 and use it to your advantage somehow. 3 mana usually gets you 4 damage, but only to players (like Pulse of the Forge), you more versatile but with a drawback (like Char).

This is what happens when Chancellor Rayne doesn't cancel the annual beeble roast.
