Well Unhinged is in fact some sort of testing edition and serves for inspiration.

But the main point about self-bouncing here is not being a CoP, but being able to choose something when it comes into play/enters the battlefield, like Circle of Solace.
Thus you'll be able to modify the use of this Cycle after bouncing.

And the Artwork on this card is far from crappy, those are some famous arts put together on one card which has an ability that suits perfectly to it. Vorthos should love this card.

Allowing the changing of choices made earlier (albeit indirectly) like this is something I'd like to see on more real cards, as long as they keep it balanced. If they make it too cheap it will just be used to save frustrating things from removal.
