This card along with Ashen Ghoul, formed the first graveyard-based deck, however this card is one of the reasons graveyard order still matters...This is also one of the first cards with haste...

Not only was Nether Shadow the first creature that could come back from the graveyard, it was also the first creature to have an ability similar to "haste."

Has anyone else noticed that the ABU version read its ability to have you pay {B}{B} to bring it back to play?? Which makes it MUCH worse than the Revised onward versions??
