Cool black control card. I wonder why these type of cards have to leave play if there are no more creatures however. probably just to give the opponent a shot to play around it.

Cool black control card. I wonder why these type of cards have to leave play if there are no more creatures however. probably just to give the opponent a shot to play around it. This is to give the card flavor that reflects the real world. A real plague or pestilence dies out when there are no more people to infect, the disease cannot carry on with out hosts.

Back in the day, any card going to the graveyard for any reason was called "discard."
