I don't understand the logic behind this card. The whole point of portal is to make simple cards, this card is significantly more complicated that simple Maro. P&T are * is easy, P is * and T is 4 is a lot harder to think about. Not that this card is complicated at all, it could just be simpler.

Another interesting thing other than Sylvan Yeti's similarities with Maro is his creature type development: -Starter 1999: Elemental -Portal Second Age: Beast -Oracle: Yeti
I wonder if it started as an Elemental because it was based on Maro: Maybe during development, it just had some codename and started as an elemental, and then happened to become a Sylvan Yeti, leaving the creature type unfitting. (If that is even possible; both Starter and Classic: Sixth Edition (Maro's earliest print) are from 1999, and i'm not sure which of those sets came first.)
