This really doesn't make any sense, Portal is supposed to be a set for newer players, but seriously, how many people know what summoning sickness is, compared to the number that know what haste is? This makes no sence from a standpoint of teaching people how to play.

Summoning sickness was described in the Portal rules book. So every player who started with Portal should know that.
