Odd reminder text...why would my tapped rats not count? Anyway, this guy looks nice in black border...I only have white :(

yeah, Portal reminder texts are sometimes pretty funny, see Wrath of God portal version for instance. I got one of these, but the bold font annoys me a bit. I'd like to see a black-bordered Swarm of Rats without bold font using the "new" design (you can't really call it new anymore since 8th edition design change is about seven years back).
I think what's even more odd about this card is the flavor: It represents all your Rats, yet in the end it's just another seperate creature: If you have two other Rats for example, this one is a 3/1. Now you can just attack with your Swarm of Rats, and the other two Rats that are considered part of the swarm remain untapped. The swarm dies, and the other rats remain unharmed.

@ Mode: Unfortunately, the most flavoursome choice would have been banding, and they can't let us have that anymore :( And something like Battle cry, exalted, or Rimehorn Aurochs would not have been very flavourful..

A GOOD creature from Portal: Second Age. And it's not even an average creature randomly stuck in the rare slot. Nice.
