WotC, bring back the laces. At Uncommon rarity (which they should have been at from the start) this time.

They are too narrow cards to be nothing but rare.

@ tavaritz - Not necessarily...especially since they're instants. This could be used to counter several of the black kill spells (the ones that specify 'non-black') and could sidestep protection. Not narrow, but also not quite all-encompassing...uncommon would fit fine.

If these silly things had cantriped, they would have been playable. As is, they were nearly worthless back then when "color hate mattered" and are worthless today.

Now I've got Rolling Stones (not the card) stuck in my head.
