to make someone discard anything in their hand, including land? Tempting, and there's enough stuff that has synergy with sacrificing creatures that I can see this having a place in a pretty good deck.

Folks compain, but there hasn't really been a better one-shot discard creature printed to date. If you want to tap into the multitude of cards that let creatures cycle in and out of play, there's no better way to get ahead of slower, control-oriented decks!
