This card saw some play, not much... and to tell you truth it sucks. 2 cards to return 1 creature.. much better cards out there. Boomarang. AEther snap..... so on and such forth

Probably playable in a reanimation deck. Pay 3 mana, discard two creatures you want to have in your gy, bounce two opponents creatures. Not bad.

Maybe with the madness mechanic? Although i would be much more inclined to use this if it cost {U} instead of {X}{U}. As is:
{1}{U}: Discard a creature card, return target creature to it's owner's hand
{2}{U}: Discard two creature cards, return two target creatures to their owner's hand...

Just not worth it. Also, sorcery speed. Yikes.

This is one of those cards I had a ton of but was so off-put by what it did the first time I read it, I completely forgot even part of its rules text until I read it here on Gatherer just a few minutes ago. Looks nice though.

You should be able to discard anything to pay for it.. instead of creatures... then... even if it was sorcery speed.. it could come in handy... (especially in a snapcaster mage deck :P)

Compare Turbulent Dreams. I hate to trot out the cliché phrase "strictly better", but this is one of the uncommon cases where it's objectively true. It's cheaper to cast than this if you're discarding more than one card, you can discard any card type AND you can bounce any type of permanent rather than just creatures.

Just completely outdone by Turbulent Dreams.

I really hate how cards like this and Lotus Vale etc are being revised to include their downsides in the cost.
You used to be able to stifle lotus vale, or you didn't have to discard cards if this one was countered.
Just makes them all less good (and this just plain unplayable)
