I think this was a nice addition to the Plains cards, the two in Alpha looked almost identical besides the trees. Not the most exciting but variety is nice, especially since the three in Beta would be the art for 4 straight editions until Fifth Edition, where new art was put into place and they started making 4 different arts per land.
