why is this rated so low? You will almost always have a 3/2 dude on your turn to attack, beginning turn 3. That's solid. And your opponent will be completely unable to remove the creature through sorcery-speed removal. It's not kickass awesome, but it's nothing to sneeze at either.

Actually man, you'll have a 3/2 to block with. Try rereading it one more time.

Actually, man, you attack and play the land second main phase. Try thinking outside the box.

LOL Exuberance! Sorry EvilCleavage, but his aping of you to make the counterpoint was funny.

Anyhow, I could see this being solid with Wirewood Savage.

...but the card doesn't "come into play" every time it turns into a beast. It was already in play, it's just a creature now. So the Savage; she does nothing.

Actually, your opponent can definitely remove it with sorceries - they just play a land. Now, if you have some way of bringing a land down at instant speed, say a fetchland, you can thwart them which is kinda cool.

I don't think this is a great card, but it's very interesting and flavourful, I'd like to see more of these change and change back cards.

Try with Overburden.

They bounce lands thus ensuring that you have a creature. This guy doesn't bounce lands as he's not a creature.

Actually not bad, drop turn 2, they will probably play a land. Next turn swing with 3/2 and then play your land, rinse repeat.
