Sure KoM is better in a mono white, but what about all the chromatic decks out there? One colorless, one white, first strike. Sound like a winning recipe if you are playing more than two colors!

First hint that this guy is no good... "Youth" means "Inexperienced" means "Juzam Djinn bait." For the same amount of mana, you could play a White Knight, adding an extra point of toughness and protection from black. Or you could play an Order of the White Shield, adding pro-black and a pumpable offense. Either way, these veterans kick the Youthful's Knight's sorry ass 10 ways to Icatia.

Color-shifting is not a new concept, as this is Elvish Archers for white. But this is also an example of how something unique and interesting in one color, can be junk in another. White's 2-drops are some of the best in the game, so this is, even at common, junk by comparison. However, don't underestimate common first strikers in limited - especially multiples on defense. Not horrible, and a decent card for beginners to learn about the game.

I love to read how people say this card is better, or that card is better. Sure White knight and Knight of Meadowgrain are better than him, in an all white deck. 1W =/= WW. Of COURSE there is some added value for have double colored mana at a 2 drop.
