at test-subject: mabey, but i would much rather run buiried alive for the same price, it may not be a 2/2, but then you get to pic which cards go in.

Probably better not for putting particular cards into your graveyard but for threshold and lurgoyf-style effects. But not good.

The art makes me want to trade away my copies for absolutely anything, even for a kick in the teeth.

This is the most depressing card in the world.
Even ignoring the art. It's a 2/2 for , and what's his only ability? His controller can sacrifice him, and end his pitiful existence.
You don't even really feel like sacrificing him, because you'd mill three cards. Yes, there's combo potential there, but there's much better cards that do what he does.
No one will ever love him.

Robert Bliss makes the weirdest deformed monsters in Magic, and this one looks like the world's on his shoulders. Depressing as all hell.

Even his flavor text admits he sucks.
I do love the artwork though. Poor little fella.

Reminds me of Freeza from DBZ, for some reason.
I think I'd rather just use Dredge creatures.

It's a shame that of the small handful of gems that are cards illustrated by Robert Bliss, only one or two are actually playable; perhaps a few more are marginally useful in certain decks. But on average, they are pretty awful, like old Morgue Thrull here. Nevertheless whenever I stumble upon a Bliss card when looking through my old junk cards, I give it a couple extra seconds to admire the art, and it reminds me of what made me really like this game in the first place.
